WWE Survivor Series 2018 Live Results & Open 

WWE Survivor Series 2018 underwent a number of major creative changes this week and will now be headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan and Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair in a pair of first-time-ever matches to go along with a star-studded 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series match involving a slew of top stars, including Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon.

The pay-per-view will be the company's third WWE Network event in just three weeks, the goal of which is to turn around its recent struggles to keep fans subscribing to the Network. After hitting an all-time high with 1.8 million subscribers in Q2 2018, that number fell back down to reality in Q3 2018, dropping to 1.66 million and continuing


WWE's trend of consistently losing subscribers after WrestleMania is in the books each year. As a result, WWE is now loading up the card with a Rousey/Flair match that was once set to main event WrestleMania 35 and a heel vs. heel bout between Bryan and Lesnar that many fans thought would never happen.

With both Raw, which isn't far removed from generating multiple record viewership lows, and SmackDown, which has nearly dipped below two million viewers, also struggling in the ratings department,

 WWE is pulling out all the stops with a loaded Survivor Series card that will also feature big names like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and The Miz. Over the last couple of years when Survivor Series, which has focused on a "battle of the brands," ultimately wound up meaning little to nothing in the long run, WWE will be looking to give fans a quality show that sets the stage for successful TLC and Royal Rumble pay-per-views.


That, of course, will all come down to the booking, which was already thrown for a whirlwind ride with a series of major changes this week. Here are five smart booking decisions WWE must make at Survivor Series 2018.
